At approximately 9:00 a.m. on the morning of November 7, 2015, police were dispatched to the area of Sherwood Drive and Argyle Street for a report of a stolen vehicle from Lumsden, tracked by OnStar. Once Regina Police Service members were behind the vehicle, OnStar was able to decrease the speed of the stolen vehicle to 5km/hr. Officers were then able to extract and arrest the two male occupants of the vehicle.
Eighteen-year-old Joseph Gage ANTOINE, (DOB: 12/05/1997), of Regina was charged with a total of twelve charges:
- Possession of a Weapon [Sec 88, CC],
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order [Sec 733.1(1), CC],
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 [Sec 355(A), CC],
- Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Obtained by Crime [Sec 96(1), CC],
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm [Sec 91(1), CC],
- Carrying Concealed Weapon [Sec 90, CC],
- Unauthorized Possession of Firearm in Motor Vehicle [Sec 94(1), CC],
- Flight While Pursued by Peace Officer [Sec 249.1(1), CC],
- Two charges of Carless Use of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition [Sec 86(1), CC],
- Two charges of Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order [Sec 117.01(1), CC]
Joseph Gage ANTOINE made his first appearance in Provincial Court on these charges at 9:30 a.m. today.
A fifteen-year-old male, who cannot be named in accordance with provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with a total of eleven charges:
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm [Sec 91(1), CC],
- Carrying Concealed Weapon [Sec 90, CC],
- Unauthorized Possession of Firearm in Motor Vehicle [Sec 94(1), CC],
- Two charges of Carless Use of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition [Sec 86(1), CC],
- Possession of a Weapon [Sec 88, CC],

- Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Obtained by Crime [Sec 96(1), CC],
