Charges have been laid following the arrests or a twenty-one year-old male and a twenty-eight year old female in regards to an incident that occurred on October 29, 2015, in Regina that ended near Tuxford, Saskatchewan, which was the subject of an earlier media release.
Twenty-one year-old Clifford DANIELS (DOB 1994/02/03), of Saskatoon, is charged with:
• Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000 (car) – [Sec 355(a) CC]
• Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 (license plate) – [Sec 355 (b) CC]
• Assaulting a Peace Officer with a Weapon – [Sec 270.01(1)(a) CC]
• Failure to Stop at the Scene of an Accident – [Sec 252(1) CC]
• Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle – [Sec 249 (1)(a) CC]
• Evade Police – [Sec 249.1(1) CC]
• Obstruct Peace Officer [129(A) CC]
• Breach of a Conditional Sentence Order
Twenty-eight year-old Ashley MCKAY (DOB 1987/02/16), of Saskatoon, is charged with
• Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000 (car) – [Sec 355(a) CC]
• Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 (license plate) – [Sec 355 (b) CC]
• Three breaches of a Court Order – [Sec 145(3) CC] X3
Both DANIELS and MCKAY make their first appearance in Provincial Court on these charges on Monday, November 2nd, 2015, at 9:30 a.m.
