On Sunday, October 18, 2015 at approximately 05:38 a.m., police observed a vehicle entering onto Victoria Ave. from Francis Street. As police got closer to the vehicle, it turned quickly and went into an alley in the 2000 block of McKay Street where it stopped and the two occupants fled from the vehicle on foot. Police apprehended both subjects. Other Police units had also been dispatched to an alarm call from the 1700 block of Francis Street. Officers attending that address found that the business at that location had been broken into. The vehicle from which the two subjects fled was found to contain numerous pieces of property that belonged to the business on 1700 block of Francis Street.
Forty-One year-old Kevin SAYER (DOB:1973/11/01) and Thirty-Six year old Andrea LOWE (DOB:1979/03/21) are charged with Break and Enter[348 (1) (b)CC], and Possession of stolen property over $5000 [355(a) CC]. Kevin SAYER is further charged with Possession of Break and Enter Tools [351(1)CC], Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle[253(1)(a)CC], and Exceeding .08 [253(1)(b)CC]. Both subjects will make their first appearance in court on Monday October 19, 2015 at 09:30 a.m.
