On Saturday, October 17, 2015 at approximately 1:41 p.m., police were dispatched to the Cornwall Centre located at 2102 11th Avenue for a report that a male had been assaulted with a bladed weapon. Police attended and arrested a twenty-two year-old male. The victim, a 29 year-old male, was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The bladed weapon was seized by police at the scene.
Twenty-two year-old Emile SANGWAIS (DOB: 1993/06/26) is charged with Aggravated Assault [281(1) CC] and Breach of Undertaking [145(3) CC]. SANGWAIS will make his first appearance in Provincial Court on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 9:30 a.m.
