A 24-year-old male is charged in connection with a robbery yesterday at a convenience store in the 1000 block of Pasqua Street.
On Monday, August 17, 2015 at approximately 4:57 P.M. the Regina Police Service received a report of a robbery at a convenience store in the 1000 block of Pasqua Street. A male suspect entered the business and started yelling at the staff. The suspect picked up a baseball bat that was in the store and allegedly threatened employees with it. It’s alleged the suspect punched one of the employees in the face, before fleeing with merchandise and cash. The suspect was quickly caught by an officer a few blocks away and placed into police custody.
Twenty-four-year-old Joshua Shane MCDONALD (DOB: 1990-08-23) is charged with Robbery with Violence [343(B), CC]. MCDONALD will make his first court appearance in Provincial Court at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 18, 2015.
