The Regina Police Service is asking for help with a recent break & enter yesterday.
On July 1, 2015, police attended to a call on the 2200 block of Victoria Ave East at 8:41 a.m. for a report of a break and enter to a business. Officers were advised that at approximately 4:42 a.m. an unknown suspect or suspects illegally gained access to the business location, stealing over 100 cell phones. The theft was detected by an employee of the business and reported to police, but the suspect(s) had left hours earlier. Police are in the process of gathering evidence in order to identify the suspect(s) and locate them and the stolen property.
Police are asking Regina residents to be observant and take note of any suspicious online notices advertising cell phones for sale.
