An 18 year-old Regina female is facing charges in connection with her role in a fight between two young children which was recorded and posted to a social media site.
On May 9, 2015, officers were assigned to investigate a video that had been recently posted on Facebook, which appeared to have occurred within Regina. The video showed two young, male children (now known to be seven and nine years old) involved in a physical fight. The recording also had the voice of a female, who was urging the children to fight. Through investigation, the officers were able to identify the participants as well as the alleged instigator of the assault. Fortunately, neither of the children sustained any serious injuries.
Eighteen year-old Daralee Jewel KLYNE, DOB: 1996-12-24, of Regina, is charged with Assault [266 CC]. KLYNE was released on an officer undertaking and will make her first court appearance on this charge in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on July 22, 2015.
