A 32 year-old Regina male has been charged in connection with an incident of Mischief on May 10, 2015, in which a male suspect damaged a vehicle by writing on it. The incident was captured on the vehicle’s dashboard camera.
On Sunday, May 10, 2015, at about 2:40 p.m., the Regina Police Service received a call reporting an incident of mischief to a vehicle that had just occurred in a parking lot in the 2900 block of Gordon Road. The information received indicated the vehicle owner was inside a restaurant, when an unknown suspect wrote on the complainant’s vehicle, a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado, using a permanent marker. The owner supplied video captured by a dashboard camera inside the vehicle. Investigation into this incident led to a charge against a 32 year-old Regina male.
Thirty-two year-old Cihan DIKER, DOB: 1982-09-19, of Regina is charged with Mischief Under $5,000 [430(4) CC]. DIKER was released on an Undertaking to appear in Provincial Court on July 14, 2015. This matter is now concluded.
