The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, has begun a death investigation into the death of a 14 year-old Regina youth.
At approximately 12:21 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 20, 2015), police were dispatched to the area of Fines Drive at Coleman Crescent for a report of a male, possibly deceased, in a creek at that location. EMS attempted to revive the youth and transported him to hospital but he was pronounced deceased at approximately 1:30 p.m. The male youth has been identified and his family has been notified of his death.
Police, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, are conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances of this death.
