The Regina Police Service is investigating a report of an assault that occurred in the rear lane of the 2000 block of Garnet Street.
On Sunday May 17, 2015 at approximately 08:30 pm, an 18 year-old female was walking in the rear lane of the 2000 block of Garnet Street when she was approached by an unknown male from behind and pulled to the ground. The female fought off the suspect and he fled eastbound. The female was transported to the Pasqua Hospital by Regina EMS, where she was treated for minor injuries and released.
Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect was described as being an aboriginal male, smaller build, wearing a blue jacket and black shorts.
