The Regina Police Service recently charged two males in connection with a three-house fire that occurred on Friday, August 13th, 2010 at Brookview Drive in Regina’s North West, which was the subject of a previous media release. All three houses involved in the fire were under construction at the time. The house where the fire originated was destroyed, except for the foundation.
Regina Police Service and Regina Fire & Protective Services investigated and determined that the fire was deliberately set.
The subsequent investigation, over four years, led to identification of two male suspects. A 33 year-old North Battleford male was arrested on April 17th, 2015, and a 31 year-old Regina male was arrested on April 24th, 2015.
Thirty-three year-old Jeremy Myles SCHOPF (DOB: 1981/08/31), of North Battleford, is charged with Arson for Fraudulent Purposes [435(1) CC] and Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence [465(1)(C) CC].
Thirty-one year-old Bradley Stanley KRALL (DOB: 1983/11/19), of Regina, is charged with Arson for Fraudulent Purposes [435(1) CC] and Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence [465(1)(C) CC].
SCHOPF made his first court appearance in Provincial Court on April 17th, 2015. KRALL appears in Provincial Court on June 2nd, 2015, at 9:30 am.
