A 33 year-old Regina male is facing numerous drug-related charges after an investigation and search by police on Saturday, April 25, 2015.
At approximately 8:10 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2015, police conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Trifunov Crescent, on an individual bound by court-ordered conditions which included that he consent to a search of his person/vehicle/home by police. The search of the suspect’s residence, assisted by a police dog trained in the detection of illegal drugs, led to the discovery of substances alleged to be: marihuana (about 4.3 kilograms), cannabis resin (327 grams) and “hash” (approximately 48 grams). Also seized in the search: a scale, packaging and equipment specifically for the production of cannabis resin. The 33 year-old male suspect was arrested without incident and subsequently charged.
Thirty-three year-old Kristopher Martin AMOS, DOB: 1981-09-29, of Regina, is charged with two charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (marihuana, cannabis resin) [5(2) CDSA]; Production of a Controlled Substance (cannabis resin) [7(1) CDSA] and Breach of Undertaking [145(3) CC]. AMOS made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2015.
