The Regina Police Service is requesting information in an investigation into a robbery that occurred this morning, Thursday, April 9, 2015, at a business in the 1800 block Angus Street.
Police were dispatched just after 11:00 a.m. to a business in the 1800 block of Angus Street for a report of a robbery that had just occurred. A 62 year-old female employee at the business had also sustained an apparent stab wound. Preliminary investigation indicates a male suspect entered the business, armed with a bladed weapon and demanded cash. A struggle ensued between the suspect and the female employee, during which the employee was injured. The male fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. EMS transported the victim to hospital with injuries that were described as relatively minor. The suspect is described as male, Caucasian, between 40 and 50 years old, with brown hair and an unshaven appearance.
