The Regina Police Service is currently investigating a stabbing incident from this morning resulting in serious injuries to an adult male.
Police were called to a house in the 1500 block of College Avenue this morning at about 4:15am for a report of a stabbing. Police and EMS were dispatched and EMS transported an adult male to hospital with injuries described as serious. Five people were taken into custody from the house. They will be interviewed at the earliest opportunity to determine what roles, if any, they played in this event.
The investigation is ongoing. Police believe the event was contained to this location only; there is no indication of risk to others in the neighbourhood from this incident.
