The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public to assist in an investigation into a weapons offense that occurred early Saturday morning.
On Saturday, February 21, 2015, at approximately 1:52 a.m. police were called to the 1200 block of Rae Street for the report of a male who had been shot with a firearm. During a party at the residence a 19 year-old male stood outside in front along with two females. A suspect approached and discharged a firearm, hitting the 19 year-old male. It is believed that the suspect(s) fled north. There is no available description of the suspect(s).
The victim was transported to hospital by EMS and determined to have non-life threatening injuries.
