Two Regina males are charged after a weapons offense on Sunday morning in the area of the 4900 block of Child Avenue that was the subject of a previous media release.
At about 1034hrs, Sunday, February 22, 2015, police were dispatched to the area of the 4900 block of Child Avenue for a report of a male with a stab wound. Police arrived and found a 27 year-old male with an apparent stab wound, who was taken to hospital by EMS with injuries described as non-life threatening.
Police learned through investigation there had been an altercation between several males at a residence in the 100 block of Rink Avenue. The altercation resulted in the 27 year old male getting stabbed.
Further investigation of this incident led to the arrest of two males:
Twenty-seven year-old Ashton Lorne CAPPO (1987/11/01), of Regina, is charged with Assault with a Weapon [267(A) CC] and Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon [91(2) CC]. Twenty year-old Shayse Clay CAPPO (1994/03/20), of Regina, is charged with Assault with a Weapon [267(A) CC].
Both males make their court appearance on April 2, 2015.
