As the result of continued investigation into drug trafficking in the city of Regina, a 24 year-old Regina male is facing drug-related charges, making his first court appearance today (Monday, January 26, 2015).
On Sunday, January 25, 2015, at about 10:35 a.m., police members approached a male suspected of drug trafficking at a business in downtown Regina. The male was arrested and, in the search incident to his arrest, police found a large quantity of a substance believed to be cocaine. Subsequent testing confirmed the substance to be cocaine. The drug seizure was in excess of 2.7 kilograms.
Twenty-four year-old Tanner Nicholas HERSCHE, DOB: 1990-11-25, of Regina, is charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance [5(1) CDSA] and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking [5(2) CDSA]. HERSCHE made his first court appearance on these charges at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2015.
