The Regina Police Service is asking the public for any information that could assist in an investigation into an aggravated assault against a 34 year-old male.
At approximately 8:00 a.m., Regina Police Service members were dispatched to the 600 block of Cameron Street for a report of a male victim, who appeared to be the victim of an assault. The victim was transported to hospital by EMS. Police interviewed the victim; however, he was very reluctant to provide police with details of what had occurred. Repeated attempts to gather information have developed a partial account of this incident. It is believed this incident occurred sometime between 2:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. today, Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Police believe the male went to a residence in the 1200 block of Retallack Street today, where he was attacked by as many as three males. The victim has injuries consistent with a vigorous, physical assault. The victim’s wallet was taken from him and the keys to a vehicle may have been taken by the assailants as well. Police are attempting to locate the vehicle, which is described as a red, 2010 Dodge Ram truck; Saskatchewan license 360 HRU. Investigators are continuing their efforts to learn more about this assault in order to identify and locate suspects.
