The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, is conducting a death investigation into the death of a 29 year-old Regina female, who was found, injured, at a downtown hotel just after 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015. The injured female was subsequently transferred to hospital by EMS and died in hospital at approximately 6:30 a.m. on January 10, 2015. The Coroner’s Service was contacted, which in turn contacted the Regina Police Service.
The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, initiated the death investigation. This investigation is ongoing and will include an autopsy (Thursday) to help determine the circumstances surrounding this death.
