Police are currently on scene investigating a death in the 400 Block of Garnet Street North.
On Monday, January 12, 2015 at approximately 5:43 p.m. police and EMS were dispatched to a home in the 400 Block of Garnet Street North for a report of an injured, possibly deceased, person. Police located the person and EMS confirmed the individual deceased. The deceased person is a 16 year old female.
Members from the Regina Police Service, Major Crimes Unit, Forensic Identification Unit and Patrol are currently investigating the incident. The identity of the deceased person has been confirmed and her family has been notified but her name will not be released at this time. More information will be released once available.
