As the result of ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in the city of Regina, police have seized a quantity of illegal substances as well as firearms.
An investigation by the Regina Police Service, including members of the Regina Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team (RIDEST) and members of the Special Weapons and Tactics team (SWAT) led to the execution of a Controlled Drug and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant on Friday, December 12th at approximately 11:30 a.m. for a residence on Castle Place, in the city of Regina.
Seized in the searches was a various quantity of drugs, including methamphetamine, cocaine, and marihuana. Also seized in the search were firearms and ammunition.
The investigation is on-going and will continue through the weekend.
