The Regina Police Service is advising the public of a suspicious person incident and asking for any information from the public that can help in this investigation.
Police were contacted on Friday, December 5, 2014 at about 6:25 p.m. The caller indicated that a young female had reported to her that she was followed by a male in a car earlier that day. The preliminary information is as follows: at approximately 3:20 p.m., the 13 year-old girl was walking in the area of the 1300 block of Wascana Street, when she noticed a male driving toward her in a dark blue, four-door sports car. The male turned the vehicle so that he was following her. She ran to a nearby house, but it was locked and, at that point, the girl reports the male got out of the vehicle and followed her on foot. She ran into the alley and then noticed he was gone. When she arrived at her destination in the 1100 block Princess Street, she saw the male again, driving past in his vehicle. She notified adults who, in turn, notified police.
The male is described as Caucasian, in his late 20s, with a dark, brown beard; wearing a red and black striped toque and a blue jacket. The car is described as a blue, four-door sports car with a Saskatchewan plate (no license plate numbers/letters).
