The 30th Annual presentation of the Police Exemplary Service Medal of Canada, to members of the Regina Police Service, will be held at 2:00 p.m., December 2, 2014, at Government House.
Eight (8) police officers will be awarded medals in recognition of 20 years of exemplary service characterized by good conduct, industry and efficiency. In addition, one (1) officer will be awarded the First Bar in recognition of 30 years of service.
The Honourable Vaughn Solomon Schofield, Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, will present the awards.
A brief reception will be held for recipients and invited guests following the ceremony. Members of the media are encouraged to attend.
