The Regina Police Service is currently investigating a weapons offence involving a firearm that occurred on Saturday, November 29, 2014 in the area 1900blk of Robinson Street.
At about 0539 hrs Saturday, November 29, 2014, police were dispatched to the area of the 1900 block of Robinson Street for a report of a male with a firearm. Resident from the area reported seeing a group of people in the street; they were causing a disturbance by yelling and shouting, one of the people in the group was a male with a long barrel firearm. Police attended to the area and several people believed to be involved in the disturbance were located and arrested without incident. The firearm was also located. No one was injured.
This incident is still under investigation. There are no details as to charges, at this time, as police are working to determine the roles of the various individuals involved in this incident.
