The Regina Police Service is currently investigating a weapons offence involving a firearm that occurred early this afternoon, Friday, November 7, 2014. Investigation indicates the weapon is a pellet gun.
At about 1:53 p.m. police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Montague Street. in response to a report of a firearms offence. The complainant advised that the back porch window of a residence had been shot, and two males were observed by the complainant running northbound through the alley immediately after.
When police arrived they observed holes consistent with that of a pellet gun. No injuries occurred.
Based on the witness description, the males are believed to be around 15 to 16 years of age. The taller of the two was thin, wearing all black with a green ball cap.
