On November 6, 2014 a Joint Forces Operation (JFO) involving: the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) ‘F’ Division Integrated Organized Crime Unit – South (IOC-S), the Saskatchewan Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) and Regina Police Service (RPS) culminated in several search warrants being served within the City of Regina. The search warrants were part of an eight month investigation into groups believed to be involved in the trafficking of cocaine and cannabis. The JFO investigators were assisted in the searches by police officers from the Regina Police Service, the Moose Jaw Organized Crime Unit, the Regina Police Service SWAT Unit and Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods (SCAN).
