The Regina Police Service is currently investigating a weapons offence involving a firearm that occurred last night, Tuesday, November 4, 2014, in the area of the Pasqua Gate East and Pasqua Gate West.
At about 11:13 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, police were dispatched to the area of Pasqua Gate East and Pasqua Gate West responding to a report from a motorist; that the motorist’s vehicle window had been shot out. Given the description of the vehicle believed to be responsible for the shooting, police searched the area where the vehicle was last seen by the motorist. Police located the suspect vehicle being operated in the 3600 block of Sherwood Drive. Police performed a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle and the occupants were arrested without incident.
Charged with Possession of a Weapon [88(1) CC] is eighteen year-old Dakota Joseph William LAFERTE (DOB: 1995/12/28), eighteen year-old Patience WOODMAN (DOB: 1996/03/21), eighteen year-old Arizona Sky LAGIMODIERE (DOB: 1996/04/20).
Twenty-four year-old Ethan VANHARTEN-BAGI (DOB:1990/07/31) is also charged with Possession of a Weapon [88(1) CC], as well as Careless Use of a Firearm [86(1) CC], Pointing a Firearm [87 CC], Discharge an Airgun or Pistol With Intent [244.1(B) CC], Assault with a Weapon [267(A) CC], and Fail to Comply [145(3) CC].
All make their first appearance in court today, Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at 2:00 p.m.
