The Regina Police Service is currently investigating a weapons offence involving a firearm that occurred this morning (Wednesday, October 22, 2014) in the area of the Fleet Street and Young Crescent.
At about 4:17 a.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2014, police were dispatched to the area of Fleet Street and Young Crescent for a report of gunshots. Several residents from the area reported hearing gun shots. A resident from Young Crescent called police reporting that the windows of their house had been shot out. Upon further investigation police learned that the front living room window had been shot at with a firearm causing the damage to the window. No one was reported injured inside the residence.
A witness reported to police that several people were seen running from the area after the gunshots were heard. It is unknown at this time what if any involvement any of these people may have had in this incident.
