As the result of ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in the city of Regina, two males, and one female are facing a number charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
An investigation by the Regina Police Service, including members of the Regina Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team (RIDEST) led to the execution of Controlled Drug and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrants on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 for two locations; One on the 3100 block of Tregarva Drive and another on the 0-99 block of Newton Crescent.
Seized in the searches was approximately $6700 in currency, over 3 grams of marihuana, and cocaine with an approximate street value of $13,500, as well as drug paraphernalia and cell phones.
Thirty-one year-old Severin Dwaylon SIMON, DOB: 1983-07-27, of Regina, is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) [5(2) CDSA]; Possession of Property obtained by crime over $5,000 (proceeds, cash) [355(a) CC], Possession of a Controlled Substance (marihuana) [4(1) CDSA], Possession of a Controlled Substance (cocaine) [4(1) CDSA].
Twenty-six year-old Ives Dan KONGOLO, DOB: 1988-05-21, of Regina, is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) [5(2) CDSA]; Possession of Property obtained by crime over $5,000 (proceeds, cash) [355(a) CC], and Failure to Comply [145(3) CC].
Twenty-five year-old Madison Carol Tillie ZARAZUN, DOB: 1989-05-08, of Regina, is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) [5(2) CDSA]; Possession of Property obtained by crime over $5,000 (proceeds, cash) [355(a) CC].
All three made their first appearance on the charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2014.
