A male and female, both of Regina, are facing numerous drug and firearms-related charges after an investigation that resulted in the seizure of cash, weapons, drugs and paraphernalia.
On Monday, September 15, 2014, at approximately 12:40 am, as the result of continued investigation into the issue of drug-trafficking in the city of Regina, a search warrant was executed on a residence on the 0-99 block of Sangster Boulevard.
Two individuals, a 23 year-old male and a 31 year-old female, were arrested and charged with numerous offences as a result of the search.
Twenty-three year-old Justin Theodore PELLETIER: 1991-07-14, of Regina is facing a total of 8 charges:
- Possession of a Restricted Weapon – section 91(2) CC;
- Possession of Firearm/Ammunition while Prohibited – section01(1) CC;
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000 – section 355(B) CC;
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine) – section 5(2) CDSA;
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) – section 5(2) CDSA;
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (marihuana) – section 5(2) CDSA;
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (hydromorphine) – section 5(2) CDSA;
- Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methyienedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA)) – section 4(1) CDSA;
Thirty-one year-old Christelle Leah SMITH: 1983/07/08 of Regina is facing a total of 7 charges:
- Possession of Firearm/Ammunition while Prohibited – section01(1) CC;
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000 – section 355(B) CC;
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine) – section 5(2) CDSA;
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) – section 5(2) CDSA;
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (marihuana) – section 5(2) CDSA;
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (hydromorphine) – section 5(2) CDSA;
- Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methyienedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA)) – section 4(1) CDSA;
PELLETIER and SMITH make their initial court appearances in Provincial Court at 2:00 p.m. this afternoon, Tuesday, September 23, 2014.
