The Regina Board of Police Commissioners has approved an increase in the reward offered for information in the case of missing Tamra Jewel KEEPNESS. The Board of Police Commissioners is increasing the current reward for information leading to the recovery of Tamra KEEPNESS from $25,000.00 to $50,000.00 in concert with the ten-year anniversary of her disappearance. The reward becomes effective June 25, 2014 and will expire on December 31, 2015, at which time the Regina Police Service will make recommendations to the Board.
Tamra KEEPNESS, who was five years old at the time of her disappearance, was last seen the night of July 5th, 2004, in her home in the 1800 block of Ottawa Street. She was reported missing to police at about 12:15 p.m. the next day. Since that time, the Regina Police Service has carried out a comprehensive search and investigation. At a special meeting of the Board of Police Commissioners on July 13, 2004, a $25,000.00 reward was offered for information leading to the recovery of Tamra KEEPNESS. That reward has been renewed annually since. In spite of these efforts over ten years and the thorough investigation of over 1600 tips, the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Tamra KEEPNESS have not been determined and she has not been found. The Regina Police Service believes doubling the reward at the ten-year mark of this investigation may elicit crucial investigation which may solve this case.
