The Regina Police Service is currently investigating a stabbing incident from this morning resulting in non-life-threatening injuries to an adult female.
Police were called to a house in the 700 block of Cameron Street this morning at about 7:55 a.m. for a report of a stabbing. Police and EMS were dispatched and EMS transported an adult female to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. It appears there was a party at this location. Six people were taken into custody from the house. They will be interviewed at the earliest opportunity to determine what roles, if any, they played in this event.
The investigation is ongoing, with charges pending. Police believe the event was contained to this location only; there is no indication of risk to others in the neighbourhood from this incident.
