Police are investigating the report of a forcible confinement that occurred on the 900 block of Albert Street.
On Thursday, May 15, 2014 at approximately 3:40 pm police were dispatched to a business on the 1000 block of 8th Avenue. A 17 year-old female had arrived at the business reporting that she had been forcibly confined by a male in a vehicle. She encountered this male on the 900 block of Albert Street.
It is alleged that an adult male in a white car approached the 17 year-old female, and asked her to share a cigarette. It is also alleged that once the female was inside the vehicle the male sped off. A short time later the male pulled over in the area of 1000 block 8th Avenue and sexually assaulted the female. The female managed to unlock the door and escaped on foot. The female did not sustain injuries from this incident.
The suspect is described as male, Caucasian, early 30s to 40 years old, deep voice, with thin or average build. He was wearing blue jeans and a black and yellow ball cap that covered his hair. The vehicle is described as a white car, automatic transmission, with a trunk, beige interior, and some rusting on the front of the exterior.
