A 32 year-old Regina male has been charged with Second-Degree Murder in connection with the death, earlier this year, of 21 year-old Kelly Nicole GOFORTH of Regina.

At approximately 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, police were dispatched to the 1700 block of McAra Street for a report of a sick or injured person. Police arrived and located the body of an adult female, in the alley, east of McAra St. The deceased person was later identified as 21 year-old Kelly Nicole GOFORTH, of Regina. As the result of continued investigation into this case, police arrested a 32 year-old Regina male, without incident, on Tuesday, December 31, 2013. This male has been charged in connection with the murder of Kelly Nicole GOFORTH.
Thirty-two year-old Clayton Bo EICHLER, DOB: 1981-08-28, of Regina, is charged with Second-Degree Murder, contrary to section 235(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada. EICHLER will make his first court appearance on this charge in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m., on Thursday, January 2, 2014.
