The Saskatchewan Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) partnered with the Regina Police Service and the Integrated Organized Crime Unit – South to serve search warrants on four locations in the City of Regina during the early morning hours of September 18, 2013. Three residences and a storage facility were searched which resulted in the seizure of approximately 20 ounces of Cocaine, six pounds of Cannabis, three vehicles and an estimated $30,000 Canadian currency.
Appearing in Saskatchewan Provincial Court at Regina during the afternoon of September 18, 2013 will be two males:
Jamie Darren PAULSON (Born 1987-12-26) of Regina who is will be charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Trafficking, 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, 354.1 Criminal Code.
Michael Abyson GANGYL (Born 1987-12-20) of Regina who is will be charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Trafficking, 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, 354.1 Criminal Code.
CFSEU is funded by the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Justice, Corrections and Policing. CFSEU is an investigative body comprised of personnel from the Regina Police Service, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Saskatoon Police Service and the Prince Albert Police Service. The mandate of CFSEU is to expose, investigate, disrupt, dismantle, and assist in the prosecution of organized crime groups.
