A 23 year-old Regina male, who was the subject of five Warrants for Arrest, has been arrested.
The arrest came about after police responded to a report of a robbery in progress at a liquor store in the 2500 block of East Quance Street on Saturday, August 31, 2013, just before 7:30 p.m. A male entered the business, selected a product and ran out of the store without paying. It is alleged the male threatened two people with a knife before fleeing. Investigation led police to Canon Street where they located a male matching the description of the suspect. He was arrested with the assistance of a canine member.
Twenty-three year old Dustin Lyle Martin MORIN, DOB : 1990-05-05, of Regina, is already charged with Break and Enter [348 (1) ( b) CC] in connection with a home invasion on July 26, 2013 at a house in Northwest Regina. MORIN is also facing three charges of Aggravated Assault [ 268 ( 1) CC] in connection with an incident on July 4, 2013, in the 1000 block of Athol Street.
MORIN now faces two charges of Assault with a Weapon and one charge of Theft under $ 5,000 in connection with the most recent incident. MORIN will make his court appearance on his charges in Provincial Court at 9 : 30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2013.
