The Regina Police Service is investigating an incident that occurred this morning (Sunday, August 11, 2013) in which two adult males were taken to hospital each with an apparent gunshot wound.
On Sunday, Aug 11, 2013, at approximately 6:30 a.m., police were dispatched to the 700 block of Wascana Street for a report of a male walking with a rifle. A male matching the description was located and brought into custody near the 900 block of Princess Street. A .22 caliber rifle was located close by and is believed to be related to this incident.
At about 7:15 a.m., police were dispatched to the 500 block of Wascana Street for a report of an injured male. The male, suffering what appeared to be a gunshot wound, was transported to hospital. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
At about 7:45 a.m., police were dispatched to the 400 block of Pasqua Street for a second report of an injured male who appeared to be suffering a gunshot wound. EMS attended and transported the male to hospital. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
