Two Regina females, a 15 year-old and a 19 year-old, have been charged with Aggravated Assault after investigation into an incident that occurred on Saturday, July 20th, just after midnight.
The preliminary investigation indicated that a 32 year-old male, who had been at a liquor establishment in the 4100 block of 5th Avenue, had left the building and was walking toward his vehicle when he was approached by two females. It is alleged one of the females stabbed the male victim in the left arm, after which he ran back into the business. A canine member, in the area, called in the incident and two female suspects were arrested a short time later.
The 15 year-old female cannot be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. She is charged with Aggravated Assault contrary to section 268(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada. She made her first court appearance on this charge in Youth Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2013.
Nineteen year-old Priscilla Rose WASACASE, DOB: 1993-08-14, of Regina, is charged with Aggravated Assault [268(1) CC] and Breach of Probation [733.1(1) CC]. WASACASE made her first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2013.
