A 22 year-old Regina male has been charged with Attempt Murder following investigation into an incident at a house in the 900 block of Garnet Street in which a 30 year-old male was stabbed numerous times.
Police were dispatched at approximately 4:43 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2013, to a house in the 900 block of Garnet Street for a report of an altercation in which a 30 year old male had been stabbed. Police and EMS attended and located the victim in front of the house; he was taken by EMS to hospital with injuries that were described as serious. A 22 year-old male was located inside the residence and subsequent investigation led to charges against him.
Twenty-two year-old Danton Cole McKAY, DOB: of Regina, is charged with Attempt Murder [239 CC] and Breach of Probation [733.1(1) CC]. McKAY made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2013.
