The Regina Police Service has arrested and charged six people after two break and enter incidents last night.
The Regina Police Service was called to a break and enter in the 900 block of Rae Street at 11:51 p.m. yesterday, May 23, 2013. Upon arrival, within 30 seconds of the call coming in, it was found that the suspects had fled. In the course of the first investigation, a 911 call came in and officers arrived on scene to what appeared to be a second break and enter in the 3200 block of Dewdney Avenue. Officers located one male hiding in a yard in the 1500 Block of Athol Street. He was arrested without incident, although he originally provided a false name. Two females were located in a vehicle behind the residence and arrested without incident. The second and third male were located and arrested. A fourth male attempted to flee in a cab but officers recognized him and he was arrested without incident.
Eighteen year old Devon Wayne CYR, DOB: 1994/11/05, of Regina is charged with Break and Enter to Commit Robbery [CC 348 (1)(b)], Break and Enter [CC 348 (1)(b)], Aggravated Assault [CC 268(1)], Breach of Probation [CC733.1(1)], Breach of CSO, and Breach of Recognizance.
Twenty year old Robert Ryan OOCHOO, DOB: 1992/08/08, of Regina, is charged with Break and Enter to Commit Robbery [CC 348 (1)(b)], Break and Enter [CC 348 (1)(b)], Aggravated Assault [CC 268(1)], Possession Cannabis [CDSA 4(5)], Possession of Stolen Property [CC 355(b)], Breach of Probation [CC 733.1(1)] and Obstruction of a Peace Officer [CC129(a)].
Twenty year old Derrick Ewen PASAP, DOB: 1992/06/30, of Regina is charged with Break and Enter to Commit Robbery [CC 348 (1)(b)], Break and Enter [CC 348 (1)(b)], Aggravated Assault [CC 268(1)], and 4 counts of Failure to Comply [CC 145(3)].
Nineteen year old Steven Daniel ISAAC, DOB: 1994/03/21, of Regina is charged with: Break and Enter to Commit Robbery [CC 348 (1)(b)], Break and Enter [CC 348 (1)(b)], Aggravated Assault [CC 268(1)], Escape Lawful Custody [CC145(1)(a)].
Twenty year old Dawn Angel SANDERSON (also goes by the last name LEDOUX), DOB: 1992/09/02, of Regina, is charged with Break and Enter to Commit Robbery [CC 348 (1)(b)], Break and Enter [CC 348 (1)(b)], Aggravated Assault [CC 268(1)].
Twenty one year old Tasia Fawn GIBSON, DOB: 1992/03/14, of Regina, is charged with Break and Enter to Commit Robbery [CC 348 (1)(b)], Break and Enter [CC 348 (1)(b)], Aggravated Assault [CC 268(1)].
The six charged will make their first appearances in court this afternoon at 2.
