The Regina Police Service has charged two youths as result of ongoing investigation into graffiti and mischief in our city. The youths will not be named under provisions in the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The first male youth, 14, is charged with 2 counts of Mischief Under $5,000 [CC 430(4)]. He will make his first appearance on this charge in court on July 2, 2013.
The second male youth, 16, is charged with 22 counts of Mischief Under $5,000 [CC 430(4)]. He made his first appearance in court on these charges this morning.
Both male youths were charged after investigation into several recurring tags around the city on private properties, businesses, garbage bins, traffic signs, power boxes, and other public property. The tags started appearing in February 2013 and continued in to May 2013.
