Three adults and three youths are facing charges after an incident last night involving a stolen vehicle.
On May 1, 2013, at approximately 10:20 pm police observed a Jeep Liberty that matched the description of one earlier reported stolen. Police followed the vehicle to a house on the 900 block of Retallack Street and arrests were made.
The youths cannot be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
A 16 year-old female of Regina, is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000 [355(a) CC] and 2 charges of Fail to Comply [YCJA].
The second 16 year-old Regina female is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000 [355(a) CC] and Fail to Comply [YCJA].
A 15 year-old male of Regina is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000 [355(a) CC], Mischief under $5,000 and Fail to Comply [YCJA].
Eighteen year-old Cree Summer STRONGARM (DOB 1995/02/15), of Regina, is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000 [355(a) CC].
Twenty-one year-old Jonathan Douglas WASACASE (DOB 1991/10/19), of Regina, is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000 [355(a) CC] and Fail to Comply [145(5.1)].
Twenty-two year-old Jeremy Allen TOTTEN (DOB 1990/09/07), of Regina, is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000 [355(a) CC], and Fail to Comply [145(3) CC].
The adults made their first court appearance in Provincial Court on May 2, 2013 (today) at 9:30 a.m. The youths will be in Youth Court at 2:00 p.m.
