The Regina Police Service has arrested and charged two people after a robbery was reported early this morning.
Just after 1:15 this morning, police were dispatched to a business in the 2100 block of Pasqua Street for the report of a robbery. It is alleged that two males entered the store, one wearing a hockey helmet and carrying an ax, demanding money. The suspects left with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a vehicle. A short time later the vehicle was located abandoned. The two male suspects were located nearby and arrested without incident.
Twenty three year old Quinnlan O’Shea MCLELLAN, DOB: 1990/02/03, of Regina, is charged with Robbery with a Weapon [CC 343(d)].
Twenty one year old Joshua EAGLESON, DOB:1991/10/08, of Regina, is charged with Robbery with a Weapon [CC 343(d)], Commit Robbery Wearing Mask [CC 351(2)], Failure to Stop [CC 249.1(1)].
Both charged persons will make their first appearance in provincial court this afternoon at 2.
