Members of the Regina Police Service have located and arrested a 42 year-old male who is wanted in connection with a death investigation in Winnipeg.
Yesterday, Saturday, April 13, 2013, the Winnipeg Police Service issued bulletins requesting assistance in locating 42 year-old Christopher Mackenzie CAMPBELL, DOB: 1970-07-07, of Winnipeg, who was identified as a suspect in the investigation of a woman’s death that occurred on April 13, 2013, in Winnipeg. The Winnipeg Police Service issued information including CAMPBELL’s photograph and description and indicated that a vehicle associated to the suspect was found a few kilometres north of Regina. Members of the Regina Police Service, on duty yesterday and today, were given this information and asked to be on the lookout for anyone matching CAMPBELL’s description. Today, Sunday, April 14, 2013, at 4:35 p.m. CAMPBELL was arrested without incident in downtown Regina.
CAMPBELL is currently in Regina Police Service custody and arrangements will be made for his return to Winnipeg so that he may deal with the criminal matters facing him there.
