Two males have been charged following an incident in the 2000 block of Albert Street early this morning.
In the early hours of Thursday, April 11, 2013, Police were dispatched to a report of a weapon at a business in the 2000 block of Albert Street. It is alleged that a male brandished a small knife after being asked to leave the business. The male then fled to a vehicle outside the business and the vehicle drove away. Police initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and the occupants were taken in to custody without incident.
Twenty four year old Ashton Joseph James LAVALLEE, DOB: 1988/12/05, of Regina, is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine [CDSA 5(2)], Possession of a Weapon [CC 88], and Assault with a Weapon [CC 267(a)].
Twenty one year old Austin Warren LAVALLEE, DOB: 1991/09/04, of Regina, is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine [CDSA 5(2)].
Both charged persons will make their first appearance in Provincial Court this afternoon at 2.
