On April 3rd, 2013 at about 9pm, police responded to a call at a room in a South Regina Motel where a handgun had been accidentally discharged. A 53-year-old male, who was staying at the motel, had discharged the firearm accidentally.
The male was arrested and charged with “Careless Use of a Firearm”, “Possession of a firearm in an Unauthorized Place”, and “Unsafe Storage of a Firearm”. The accused will be appearing in court on May 8th in Provincial Court.
No one was injured in the incident.
