The Regina Police Service is continuing its investigation into Regina’s third homicide of 2013. With confirmation of the identity of the victim and notification of his next-of-kin, police are now releasing the name of the male victim. He is: forty-two year-old Gregory Earl FOX, DOB: 1970-06-15, of Regina.
On Friday, March 29, 2013, at about 5:50 a.m., police and EMS were dispatched to a house in the 400 block of Wascana Street for a report of a seriously-injured male. When police arrived they found an adult male in the house who appeared to be deceased, which was confirmed by EMS. Patrol members secured the scene and requested the Coroner and resources from Major Crimes and Forensic Identification. The deceased male was identified and his next-of-kin notified.
This investigation is ongoing, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner. At this stage in the investigation, there have been no charges laid in this case. There are no other details for release at this time.
