Two 17 year-old Regina males and a 16 year-old Regina male, are facing drug-related charges following a traffic stop in which police discover a large amount of marihuana in the vehicle.
At 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 7th, 2013, after observing a vehicle with no tail lights, police stopped the vehicle on Dewdney Avenue and Aberdeen Street. A strong odour of marihuana led to a search of the vehicle, where 645 grams of marihuana, valued at $12,905, and a small amount of mushrooms were found. The three male youths in the vehicle were arrested and charged. The accused can not be named, in accordance with provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. All three accused face charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking 5(1) CDSA.
All three accused appeared in Youth Court today at 2:00 PM.
