A nineteen year-old Regina male has been charged with Attempt Murder following police investigation into an early morning incident. That incident resulted in the hospitalization of another 19 year-old Regina male.
The investigation began when police were dispatched to hospital at about 5:05 a.m., on Sunday September 2, 2012, for a report of a male victim who had sustained serious injuries. Investigation led police to an address on Greer Court in East Regina, believed to be the scene of an altercation some hours earlier. Police secured the scene and interviewed a number of people to determine their involvement. As a result of this investigation, a 19 year-old male was charged with Attempt Murder. The 19 year-old victim of the assault remains in care in hospital.
Nineteen year-old Levi Cody BLIND, DOB: 1992-10-21, of Regina, has been charged with Attempt Murder, contrary to section 239 (1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada. BLIND has been remanded for court at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. There are no other details for release at this time.
