Twenty-seven individuals, most of them police officers, are participating in a three-day course designed specifically for police officers on bicycle. Regina Police Service members are hosting their counterparts from the RCMP and Weyburn Police Service, as well as personnel from EMS, in a Law Enforcement Bicycle Association, or LEBA, course. The course combines classroom lecture and theory with practical, skills-based training at a number of locations throughout the city.
Since the group will be changing locations frequently, members of the media, who wish to report on this training and interview course leaders or participants, are asked to contact Elizabeth Popowich at 535-3972 to arrange for an interview.
